HBO in association with the recently launched TV show “How to make it in America” presents this documentary about NYC’s skateboard scene. It features professional skateboarders Gino Iannucci, Anthony Pappalardo, Fred Gall, Billy Rohan, Zered Bassett and more talking about living and skateboarding in the Big Apple. At one point the photographer says ‘New York just looks good on film,’ and he explains why he prefers to shoot in NYC above any other city in the world and I completely understand that. From day one NYC appealed to me, for its’ music, its’ image and its’ roughness. Enjoy the full screen documentary here.

Bad Brains are one of the most important bands in the hardcore movement. While california had punk and DC was getting its’ name out in the early eighties with bands like Black Flag and Minor threath, things started in NYC with Cro-mags and Bad Brains. The latter was always doing their own thing, mixing hardcore with reggea music. Vans released this limited tee and we have it in a couple of sizes.

Today is the day that Nike SB releases its’ new pro model: the Omar Salazar. A bit of a half cab with a AF 1 sole, but a complete new silhouette on its’ own. I was fortunate enough to get a pair some weeks ago and ever since I didn’t wear any other shoes, comfy as f*#k. Check them out:

Wow, the guys at Nike SB gave the Janoski a wilder look with this bright blue colorway. Put them on your feet and you don’t want to take them off!
