New books and magazines in store

Get your reading on, because we truly have some great books lined up for you:

all-city-writers

All city writers.

All city writers is an imaginary 400+ page newspaper. The chronicles it contains have not been penned down by real journalists or narrators, but by people who define themselves as ‘writers.’ In ‘All city writers’ a chorus of uncensored voices in the first person reveal their knowledge of European cities, their infrastructures and neighbourhoods. This is the generation that in the last two decades of the 20th century imported the countercultural phenomenon from New York, commonly known as GRAFFITI.

backflashes

Graffiti tales.

This book takes the reader on a mystic journey through the nights. Together with Ruedione and various international writers you  sneak into some very secret spots all over the world. The shown pictures transport the feelings and the atmosphere trainwriters have been addicted to for more than 30 years now.

mural-art-vol2

Mural art, volume 2.

More then 120 muralists and organisations from all over the world, from Europe to Africa, from America to Asia and Oceania, present 1000+ murals and guide us through their world. The murals in the book are all painted on public surfaces with different techniques: graffiti, stencilling, etc.

graf-ny

Graffiti New York

From the history of the subway wars (including testimony from those on the other side of the law, the police) to graffiti’s infiltration of the gallery scene, with explorations of the commonalities and disparities among New York’s five boroughs, and a look at the media’s coverage and part in spreading the word about graffiti. This book is a passport to a greater understanding and appreciation of NYC graffiti culture. Featuring approximately 1000 images complemented by commentary from graffiti writers, as well as descriptive graphics and sidebars.

nike-sb-fluff-micro-site

Fluff X Nike SB.

Next to the bible this must be the thickest book out there at the moment. Fluff’s photographer and editor Marcel Veldman went all out to create this 600+ book for Nike SB, covering almost all SB riders from Europe in their ‘natural habitat.’ The book has a feel of adventure, wildness and, of course, skateboarding. We are very happy that Nike hooked us up with these books, since they are pretty exclusive… each book comes with a photo print on cardboard with the Fluff X SB logo stamped into it. Be quick or be crying.

We are very proud to introduce a ‘new’ brand to you. New for the European market, because in4mation has been around for awhile already, doing collaborations with brands like Vans, Oakley, Casio, Crooks & Castles and many others. On the other side of the ocean you can find the brand in the finest skateshops and boutiques alongside brands such as The hundreds, Obey, Alife, etc.

They have a really strong skate- and surf team, check their site for more info on that.

Again, we are proud to have in4mation as part of our collection, check the pictures and be amazed by the cardigan (!), button ups, caps, etc.
