It looks like Nike SB will be adding yet another signature sneaker to their lineup come 2010. Some new images have been spotting, boasting what looks to be the final product of the Omar Salazar signature sneakers. The kicks add a bit of new school technical features with the implementation of Nike’s signature Flywire technology on the upper combined with a sleek tonal suede finish.

Dinosaur jr. has always been one of my all time favourite bands. They just released their new album ‘Farm’ and this is the first single of that album…. oh yes, J on a skateboard.

Nike is probably the most influential sports brand out there. They came up with some great sneakers and developped the best silhouttes in history and through this made a huge impact on the sneaker world. Now they just released the ‘Hypermax NFW ‘Marty McFly.’ I’m a big fan of Nike and when I was younger I loved the ‘Back to the future’ movies, but this Hypermax proves that two plusses don’t guarantee a nice outcome. Have a look at this ugly ass of a shoe, this must be one of the most horrible things I have seen these last couple of months.

With much anticipation we are awaiting the upcoming issue of Arkitip magazine, which is entirely dedicated to Shepard Fairey. The official release party is taking place on July 19th in collaboration with Alife and therefore the brands have now put up a large scale billboard on top of the Alife LA store, promoting the event. Make sure to check it out up close, should you be in the area!

Last Friday the TWS Awards went down with all the usual mayhem: booze, boobs, and sick, sick skating. Sean Malto took best rook, AVE snagged best video part for Mind Field and Chris Cole took the readers’ choice. Here some pictures of the premiere we did last night of Nike SB’s new video entitled ‘Debacle.’ Thanks to all who came out and Eelco at SB.

This morning, following previous news of Banksy’s show at his hometown Bristol Museum, BBC officially broke the silence with images and video footage of the show. Now we are able to present a video tour of the exhibit, which includes over 100 works, more than 70 of which are brand new, while many of the others, such as the painted toilets (or portaloos) have been reworked. With more of the amazing pseudo-political work we’ve come to love from the elusive, millionaire street artist Banksy, any visitors are sure to be pleased by his biggest show yet. The exhibition runs for 12 weeks and opens tomorrow, Saturday June 13, 2009 at 10am.
